MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas met in Regular Session at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday
February 20th, 2002 in the office of the Authority #1
North School Ave., Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Janet Richardson, Chairperson, called the meeting to
order.
Commissioners Present: Richardson, Childress, Watson
Clinehens
Commissioners Absent: Garton
Others Present: Bromo Wilson & Fredia Sawin
The Minutes of the January 16th, 2001 Regular Meeting were
approved by motion, seconded, and carried unanimously.
After a brief discussion concerning expenditures and budget
items, the January Financial Statement was approved by
motion, seconded, and carried unanimously.
Ms. Watson talked with the board concerning the monthly
tenants meeting which is held on the third Tuesday of
each month in the COA meeting room here at Hillcrest Towers.
Ms. Janet Linebaugh, the new COA Director, was introduced
to the tenants in attendance. Mr. Bromo Wilson, Fredia
Sawin and Mike Atwell (Maintenance Supervisor) were also
present to answer any questions concerning maintenance
or other problems in relation to management. Stacy,
the Activites Director for COA, was present to discuss
the gossip being spread that is unwaranted, what her job
entailed and problems with clean up after the regular
Thursday night church service. Several options to solve
any problems and ways to keep this church service going
were presented at this meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
