MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas met in Regular Session at 8:00 A.M. Wednesday
April 21st, 1999 in the office of the Authority #1
North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Janet Richardson, Vice Chairperson, called the meeting
to order.
Commissioners Present: Richardson, Fries, Childress
Commissioners Absent: Clinehens, Hudspeth
Others Present: Bromo Wilson, Fredia Sawin
The Minutes of the March 24th, 1999 Regular Meeting were
approved by motion, seconded, and carried unanimously.
The March Financial Statement was approved by motion,
seconded, and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR COMP
GRANT WORK FOR 1998 FUNDS FOR AR 097001. Resolution
No. 624 was approved by motion, seconded, and carried
unanimously.
Mr. Clarence Fries presented his written board resignation
to Mr. Bromo Wilson.
Due to unforseen circumstances and not enough board members,
the tour of the sites was again rescheduled to the next
Board Meeting in May, 1999.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Dear Mr. Hudspeth:
Because 1 will be moving out-of-state in the near future, I am herewith tendering my resignation as a
Commissioner of the Fayetteville Housing Authority effective immediately.
Mtn almost fifteen years of serving on the board, I will miss the camaraderie and the involvement in the
important worst done by the Housing Authority. I especially want to thank Mr. Bromo Wilson and Ms.
Fred's Sawin for their diligence and professionalism in administering this program. Reliance on such
outstanding individuals makes the duties of a Commissioner a pleasure.
I wish the mann Commissioners and all fixture Commissioners the very best.

RESOLUTION NO. 624
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTACT FOR COMP GRANT
WORK FOR 1998 FUNDS FOR AR 097001
WHEREAS, The Fayetteville Housing Authority received bids
on April 7, 1999 for Comp Grant Work for 1998 Funds, and
which bids have been opened, tabulated and found in proper
form and are listed on attached pages:
AND WHEREAS, the lowest bid has been reviewed, and is
within the Comp Grant & Operating Funds budget, and Barge,
Waggoner, Sumner & Cannon firm, after review, recommend
that we award contract to Roofing Systems, Rogers, AR.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE FAYETTEVILL HOUSING AUTHORITY:
1. That the contract for this work be awarded to
Roofing Systems in the amount of $89,584.00
2. That, Bromo Wilson, Executive Director of the
Housing Authority is hereby appointed to serve as
contracting office for the project. The contracting
officer is also delegated by the Authority to execute the
contract and all change orders of the project.

We received bids on the referenced project Wednesday, April 7, 1999, and after reviewing all bids,
the low bidder is Roofing Systems Incorporated. We have checked the List of Parties Excluded from
Federal Procurement or Non -procurement Programs and/or Limited Denial of Participation as
directed by Circular Letter No. N NAS -94-65 to see if the low bidder has been debarred, suspended,
• or has a Limited Denial of Participation (LPD) by the U. S. Government. The low bidder is not on
the list. In addition, all of the required bidding documents were submitted. We therefore,
recommend the award of the contract to Roofing Systems Incorporated, in the amount of
$89,584.00. •
I have included a copy of the List of Parties Excluded which indicates they are not on the List and
a Bid Tabulation.
