Tuesday November 16th, 1993, in the office of the Authority #1 North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Dan Hudspeth Chairperson, called the meeting to order. Commissioners Present: Commissioners Absent: Others Present: Hudspeth, Childress, Fries Clinehens, Richardson Bromo Wilson, Fredia Sawin The Minutes of the October 19, 1993 Regular Meeting were approved by motion, seconded, and carried unanimously. The October Financial Statement was approved by motion, seconded, and carried unanimously. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF PUBLIC HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (PHMAP) CERTIFICATION FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING 9/30/93 Resolution No. 553, was approved by motion, seconded, and carried unanimously. RESOLUTION APPROVING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR PLANNING/ARCHITECTURAL/ ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR MODERNIZATION IN ITS COMPREHENSIVE GRANT PROGRAM FOR PUBLIC HOUSING AR 097001 & 002. Resolution No. 554, was approved by motion, seconded, and carried unanimously. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Chairperson, Board of Commissioners : (signature & date) Attested to by: (Executive Directors signature & date) • X !/—/6.73 X A Board Resolution approving this certification is required and must be attached to the executed certification. form HUD -50072 (3921 rel Handbook 74605 • • RESOLUTION NO. 51,4 RESOLUTION APPROVING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR PLANNING/ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR MODERNIZATION IN ITS COMPREHENSIVE GRANT PROGRAM FOR PUBLIC HOUSING AR 097001 & 002 WHEREAS, the Department of HUD has approved the Comprehensive Grant Program (CGP) for Public Housing AR 097001 & 002 and WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Housing Authority did advertise for Planning/Architectural/Engineering Services for this Program and WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Housing Authority has determined by evaluation of criteria set out in invitations that the firm of Barge, Waggoner, Summer & Cannon was considered the best and WHEREAS, the firm of Barge, Waggoner, Summer & Cannon was the firm used to file the CPM plan and the firm is the most familiar with the (CGP) and would be advantageous to the Housing Authority to use the same firm NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE FAYETTEVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY that the Executive Director is authorized to execute a contract for services with Barge, Waggoner, Sumner & Canon in accordance with HUD guidelines and budgeted amount.
