• OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular Session
at 8:00 o'clock A.M. Wednesday August 19, 1987, in the library of the Authority, #1
North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Clarence Fries, Chairperson called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call, the following members were present:
Commissioners Present: Richardson, Hudspeth, Windham, Fries
Commissioners Absent: Morgan
Others Present: Bromo Wilson, Mrs. Reagan, Toady Edwards
Mrs. Reagan spoke to the Commissioners about her concern over people not stopping
at the stop sign at Morgan Manor.
The minutes of the June 24, 1987 Regular Meeting were approved by motion seconded
and carried unanimously.
The June and July Financial Statements were approved by motion seconded and
carried unanimously.
• RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAVEL TO ARKANSAS CHAPTER NAHRO FALL MEETING SEPTEMBER
16-19, 1987 AT. FT. SMITH, ARKANSAS. Resolution No.450 ,.was approved by motion,
seconded and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION! ADMENDING STATEMENT OF POLICIES GOVERNING ADMISSION TO AND CONTINUED
OCCUPANY OF THE LOW INCOME PUBLIC HOUSING PROJECTS ARK 97-1 & 2. Resolution
No.451 , was approved by motion, seconded and carried unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAVEL TO ARKANSAS CHAPTER NAHRO FALL MEETING
SEPTEMBER 16-18, 1987 AT FT. SMITH, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
The Fall Meeting of Arkansas Chapter NAHRO will be held in
Ft. Smith, Arkansas September 16-18, 1987 and,
there will be programs and discussions concerning Public
Housing and Section 8 Housing that would benefit the Local
Agency;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, that
travel expenses for personnel designated by the Executive
Director be paid to this meeting in accordance with the
Agency's policy

RESOLUTION ADMENDING STATEMENT OF POLICIES GOVERNING ADMISSION
TO AND CONTINUED OCCUPANY OF THE LOW INCOME PUBLIC HOUSING
PROJECTS ARK 97-1 & 2
WHEREAS: The Statement of Policies Governing Admission To And Continued
Occupany of the Low Income Public Housing Projects Ark 97-1
& 2 needs to be updated from time to time;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE FAYETTEVILLE•
HOUSING AUTHORITY THAT: Section I Selection of Tenants / Paragraph E Order
of Preference of the above mentioned Policies be
amended to add as Item //4 the following:
"Eligible Applicants currenty receiving Section 8
Rental Assistance will be given last priority."
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 19th DAY OF AUGUST 1987.
