MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular
Session at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Wednesday April 10, 1987, in the office of
the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Clarence Fries, Chairman called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call, the following members were present:

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES.FOR
OFFICE RENOVATION AT HILLCREST TOWERS HOUSING SITE J - PHASE II. Resolution
No.443, the resolution was approved by motion, seconded and carried unanimously.
The minutes of the March 18, 1987 Regular Meeting were approved by motion
seconded and carried unanimously.
The March Financial Statement was approved by motion, seconded and carried
unanimously.

RESOLUTION NO. 443
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD'OF CONTRACT FOR
ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR OFFICE RENOVATIOtN AT HILLCREST TOWERS
HOUSING SITE J - PHASE II
WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Housing Authority has a need for office renovation
and has sufficient funds in its Section 8 Operating Reserve to fund
such renovation and,
WHEREAS, Architectural services for this renovation is needed and,
WHEREAS, Hailey, Power, Froning Architects Ltd. is providing services for the
Agency in its Phase I of office renovation,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The contract for design and renovation service Phase II be awarded
to Hailey, Powers, Froning Architects Ltd. in the following
maximum amounts:
(A) Basic Design and Bid Documants Phase
(B) Bid Phase
(C) Contract Administration Phase
$5,000.00
900.00
2,500.00
Total $8,400.00
2. That Bromo Wilson Executive Director, is hereby appointed to
serve as contracting officer.

RESOLUTION NO. 444
RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAVEL TO SOUTHWEST NAHRO ANNUAL MEETING JUNE
7-10, 1987 AT KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI
WHEREAS, the Annual. Meeting of Southwest NAHRO will be held in Kansas City
Missouri, and
WHEREAS, there will be programs and discussions concerning Public Housing
and Section 8 Housing that would benefit the Local Agency,
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE FAYETTEVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY, that travel expenses for
personnel designated by the Executive Director be paid to this
meeting in accordance with the Agency's policy.
