MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular
Session at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Wednesday March 18,.1987, in the office of
the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Clarence Fries, Chairman called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call, the following members were present:
Commissioners Present: Fries, Windham,Richardson, Morgan
Commissioners Absent: Hudspeth
Other Present: Bromo Wilson, Toady Edwards
The minutes of the February 18, 1987 Regular Meeting were approved by motion
seconded and carried unanimously.
The February Financial Statement was approved by motion, seconded and carried
unanimously.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR RENOVATION OF OFFICE - HILLCREST
TOWERS. Resolution No. 440, the resolution was approved by Robert Windham and
seconded by Janet Richardson and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION TO CHARGE OFF DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS OF FORMER TENANTS FOR PERIOD
10/1/86 - 3/31/87. Resolution No. 441, the resolution was approved by motion,
seconded and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WRITE-OFF OF CERTAIN NON -EXPENDABLE EQUIPEMNT LOST,
DESTROYED, OR JUNKED. Resolution No. 442, the resolution was approved by motion
seconded and carried unanaimously.
There being no further-business,'the meeting.was adjourned.

RESOLUTION NO. 440
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR OFFICE RENOVATION AT
HILLCREST TOWERS, #1 NORTH SCHOOL, ARK 97-1 & 2
WHEREAS, The Fayetteville Housing Authority received sealed bids on March 10, 1987
for the office renovation at Hillcrest Towers which bids have been opened,
tabulated and found to be in proper form and are listed below:
1. Jack Burge Construction Company
2. Harold Grammer Construction Co
3. Hunnicutt Construction Company
4. Leo Heckathorn Inc

WHEREAS, Hailey-Powers-Froning Architects have reviewed the bids, and recommends
that we accept the low bid of $15,900.00 from Jack Burge Construction Co.,
of Fayetteville, Ar.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE FAYETTEVILLE
HOUSING AUTHORITY.
1.. That the contract for Office Renovation at Hillcrest Towers
be awarded to Jack Burge Construction Company, Fayetteville,
Arkansas in amount of $15,900.00.
2. That Bromo Wilson, Executive Director of the Housing Authority
is hereby appointed to serve as contracting officer for the project.
TheiContracting officer is also delegated by the Authority to
execute any and all change orders (limited by the policies, rules,
and procedures as set forth by HUD) affecting the contract.

RESOLUTION NO. 441
• RESOLUTION TO CHARGE OFF DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS OF FORMER
TENANTS FOR PERIOD 10/1/86 - 3/31/87
A Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the Fayetteville Housing
Authority authorizing the charge off of delinquent accounts of certain former
tenants in the ARK, 97-1 G 2 Housing Projects for period of October 1, 1986
through. March 31, 1987.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Accounting Handbook RHM 7510.0, Chapter 3,
Section 13, certain past due accounts in the Ark, 97-1 P, 2 Low Rent Public
Housing projects are considered uncollectable and all means of collections have
been exhausted, and there is no reasonable prospect of collection of such
delinquent rents and that the probable cost of further efforts to collect said
rents would not be warranted;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
Accounts in the amount designated, due from the former.tenants listed on
the attached sheets are hereby authorized to be charged off.

RESOLUTION NO. 442
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WRITE-OFF OF CERTAIN NON -EXPENDABLE
EQUIPMENT LOST, DESTROYED, OR JUNKED.
WHEREAS, the FRJD manual 7510.1 provides for the write-off of certain
non -expendable equipment that is lost, destroyed or junked, and
WHEREAS, the most recent list of equipment that has been declared not in
working order and non -repairable and has been junked, needs to be
written off,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, that the attached list of
equipment be written off theproperty ledger of the Fayetteville
Housing Authority.
