MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular
Session at 8;30 o'clock A.M. Wednesday, April 23, 1986, in the office of
the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Mrs. Richardson, Chairman called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call, the following members were present:
Commissioners Present: Hudspeth, Richardson, Fries, Windham
Commissioners Absent: Morgan
Others Present: Bromo Wilson, Toady Edwards
The minutes of the April 23, 1986 Regular Meeting were approved by motion,
seconded and carried .unanimously.
The April Financial Statement was approved by motion, seconded and carrjed
unanimously.
RESOLUTION ATUHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION OF STORM WINDOWS
• AT HILL CREST TOWERS MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO. 903. Resolution No. 421 ,
the resolution was approved by motion seconded and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR REPLACEMENT OF DRAPES AT
HILLCREST TOWERS MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO. 903. Resolution No. 422 ,
the resolution was approved by motion seconded and carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR REPLACEMENT OF HOT WATER
HEATERS AT LEWIS PLAZA AND WILLOW HEIGHTS MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO. 903.
Resolution No. 423 , the resolution was approved by motion seconded and
carried unanimously. _.

Mr.'Wilson,reported that he had contacted David Powers of Hailey, Powers,
Froning Arhcitects to prepare plans and specifications; issuing, drawings
to the contrators; all services during the Bidding and Negotiations Phase; and
preforming the Contract Administration Phase of re -roofing Project at Hillcrest
Towers. Price of $6,000 proposed to do this work hourly, using this figure as
a miximum not -to -exceed. Mr. Windham, made a motion to offer not -to -exceed maximum
of $4,500. The motion was approved, seconded and carried.
The June meeting will be June 11, 1986 at 2:00 P.M. at the office of the
Authority.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION NO. 421
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
INSTALLATION OF STORM WINDOWS AT HILLCREST TOWERS
MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO, 903
WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Housing Authority received sealed bids on
May 14, 1986 for Installation of Storm Windows at Hillcrest Towers, which
bids have been opened, tabulated, and found to be in proper form and,
WHEREAS, the bids are as follows:

WHEREAS, the Bid is within the MOD Budget.
$28,990.00
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, AR:
1. That the contract for installation of Storm Windows
at Hillcrest Towers be awarded to Harry G. Barr Co.,
subject to HUD approval, in amount of $28,990.00.
2. That Bromo Wilson, Executive Director of the Housing
Authority, is hereby appointed to serve as contracting
officer for the project. The contracting officer is
also delegated by the Authority to execute any and all
change orders (limited by the policies, rules, and pro-
cedures as set forth by HUD) affecting the contract.

REPLACEMENT OF DRAPES AT HILLCREST TOWERS
MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO, 903
WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Housing Authority received sealed bids on
May 15, 1986 for _Replacement. of Drapes at Hillcrest Towers, which bids
have been opened, tabulated, and found to be in proper form and,
WHEREAS, the bids are as follows:
1. Sears Roebuck
Oklahoma City, Ok $23,412.00
2. Carpet Land
Springdale, AR $24,500.00
WHEREAS, the low bidder is Sears Roebuck, Oklahoma City, Ok;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, AR:
1. That the contract for replacement of Drapes at Hillcrest
Towers be awarded to Sears Roebuck, subject to HUD approval,
in amount of $23,412,00.
2. That Bromo Wilson, Executive Director of the Housing Authority,
is hereby appointed to serve as contracting officer for the
project. The contracting officer is also delegated by the
Authority to execute any and all change orders (limited by the
policies, rules, and procedures as set forth by HUD) affecting the
contract,
