OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular
session at 8;30 o'clock A.M. August 21, 1985, in the office of the Authority
#1 North School Avenue, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Mr. Windham, Chairman, called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call, the following members were present:
Commissioners Present: Windham, Hudspeth, Morgan, Richardson
Commissioners Absent : Fries
Others Present: Bromo Wilson, Toady Edwards
The minutes of the July 17, 1985 Regular meeting were approved by motion,
seconded and carried.
The minutes of the July 24, 1985 Special meeting were approved by motion,
seconded and carried.
The July Financial Statement was approved by motion, seconded and carried.
• RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR REPLACEMENT OF CARPET AT
HILLCREST TOWERS MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO. 903. Resolution # 409 , the
resolution was approved by motion, seconded and carried. Low bid was
Cope"s Carpet, Springdale, AR. $47,064.00.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
REPLACEMENT OF CARPET AT HILLCREST TOWERS
MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO. 903
WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Housing Authority received sealed bids on
August 19, 1985 for Replacement of Carpet at Hillcrest Towers, which
bids have been opened, tabulated, and found to be inproper 'form arid,
WHEREAS, the bids are as follows:
1. Cope's Carpet
Springdale, AR $ 47,964.00
2. Ozark Floor Co.
Fayetteville, AR $ 56,500.00
WHEREAS, the low bidder is Cope's Carpet, Springdale, AR ;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COtM9ISSIONFRS OF THE
LOUSING AUTHORITY OF FAYETPEVILLE, AR:
1. That the contract for Replacement of Carpet at
Hillcrest Taxers be awarded to Cope's Carpet, subject
to HUD approval, in amount of $ 47,964.00.
2. That Bromo Wilson, Executive Director of the Housing Atithority,
is hereby appointed to serve as contracting officer for the
project. The contracting officer is also delegated by the ..
Authority to execute any and all change orders (limited by the,
policies, rules, and procedures as set fotth by HUD) affecting the
contract.
