• OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular
Session at 8:30 o'clock A.M., Wednesday, November 21, 1984 in the office of
the Authority #1 North School Avenue, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Mr. Clarence Fries, called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call, the following members were present:
Commissioners Present: Fries, Morgan, Richardson, Shreve
Commissioners Absent: Windham
Others Present: Bromo Wilson, Pat Donut, Toady Edwards
The minutes of the October 17, 1984 Regular Meeting were approved by motion,
seconded and carried unanimously.
The October Financial Statement was approved by motion, seconded and carried
unanimously.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR REPLACEMENT OF FURNACES AT WILLOW
HEIGHTS AND LEWIS PLAZA HOUSING SITES UNDER 1983 MODERNIZATION PROGRAM. NO.903
• RESOLUTION # 395 . The low bidder was Johnson Center, Fayetteville, AR
$62, 265.00. The resolution was approved by motion, seconded and carried.

Mr. Wilson, reported that Nelms Chevrolet Co. was the low bidder on a 1985
heavy duty pickup for the maintenancedepartrent. Bid price $8,335.00 less
trade-in 72 Chevy Zton $705.00 total bid $7,630.00.
There being no futher business, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
REPLACEMENT OF FURNACES AT WILLOW HEIGHTS
AND LEWIS PLAZA HOUSING SITES UNDER 1983
MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO. 903
WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Housing Authority received sealed bids
on November 9, 1984 for Furnace Replacements at Willow Heights and Lewis
Plaza, which bids have been opened, tabulated, and found to be in proper
form and;
WHEREAS, the bids are as follows:
1. Johnson Center
Fayetteville, AR
2. Sturdivant's Co.
Springdale, AR
3. Paschal Heating
Springdale, AR
4. Fayetteville Plumbing
Fayetteville, AR
5. Shelton Sales
Fayetteville, AR
$ 62,265.00
$ 63,408.00
$ 63,807.80
$ 68,390.00
$ 77,404.00
WHEREAS, the low bidder is Johnson Center, Fayetteville, AR;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS' OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF FAYETTEVILLE AR:
1. That the contract for Furnace Replacement for Willow
Heights and Lewis Plaza be awarded to Johnson Center,
subject to HUD approval, in amount of $62,265.00.
2 That Bromo Wilson, Executive Director of the Housing
Authority, is herby appointed to serve as contracting
officer for the project. The contracting offices is also
delegated the Authority to execute any and all (limited
by the policies, rules, and procedures as set forth by
HUD) affecting the contract.
