MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular
Session at 8:30 o'clock A.M., Wednesday, September 26, 1984 in the office of
the Authority #1 North School Avenue, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Mr. Shreve, Chairman, called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call, the following members were present:
Commissioners Present: Shreve, Windham, Fries, Richardson
Commissioners Absent: Morgan
Others Present: Bromo Wilson, Toady Edwards, Pat Donat
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted;
The minutes of the August415,.1984 Regular Meeting were approved by motion,
seconded and carried unanimously.
The August Financial Statement was approved by motion, seconded and carried
unanimously.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WRITE-OFF OF EQUIPMENT NO. 392 , was approved by
motion, seconded and carried.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHARGE-OFF OF DELIQUENT ACCOUNTS NO. 393 , was
approved by motion, seconded and carried.
RESOLUTION APPROVING ANNUAL SALARY INCREASES NO. 394 , was approved by motion
seconded and carried.
Mr. Wilson, reported on new income guidelines for tenants in public housing
which will go into effect October 1, 1984, only very low income tenants will
be housed at Morgan Manor since it was built after 1980. The new regulations
will not cause any tenants to move but will affect new applicants.
The authority will advertise for engineering bids for conversion of the gas
fired boiler at Hillcrest Towers.
There being no futher business, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION NO. 392
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WRITE-OFF OF CERTAIN NON -EXPENDABLE
EQUIPMENT LOST, DESTROYED, OR JUNKED.
WHEREAS, the HUD manual 7510.1 provides for the write-off of certain
non -expendable equipment that is lost, destroyed or junked,
and
WHEREAS, the most recent list of equipment that has been declared not
in working order and non -repairable and has been junked,
needs to be written off
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, that the following
list of equipment be written off the property ledger of the
Fayetteville Housing Authority.

RESOLUTION NO. 393
RESOLUTION TO CHARGE OFF DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS 4/1/84 --9/30/84
A Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the Fayetteville Housing
Authority authorizing the charge off of delinquent accounts of certain former
tenants in the ARK 97-1 & 2 Housing Projects for period of April 1, 1984
thru September 30, 1984.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Accounting Handbook RHM 7510.0, Chapter
3, Section 13, certain past due accounts in the ARK 97-1 & 2 Low Rent Public
Housing projects are considered uncollectable and all means of collections
have been exhausted, and there is no reasonable prospect of collection of such
delinquent rents and that the probable cost of further efforts to collect said
rents would no be warranted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
Accounts in the amount designated, due from the former tenants listed
on the attached sheets are hereby authorized to be charged off.

RESOLUTION APPROVING SALARY INCREASES
WHEREAS, the approved budgets for the Housing Authority allows
for salary increases for certain personnel;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE FAYETTEVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY that the regular annual increase
of salaries listed below are approved effective October 1, 1984.
