MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular
Session at 8:00 o'clock A.M., Wednesday, June 27, 1984 in the office of
the Authority, #1 North School Avenue, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Mr. Shreve, Vice Chairman, called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call, the following members were present:
Commissioners Present Shreve, Windham,Richardson, Fries
Commissioners Absent: Morgan
Others Present: Bromo Wilson, Toady Edwards, Pat Donat, Marion Scarborough
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
The minutes of the May 23, 1984 Regular Meeting was approved by motion, seconded
and carried unanimously.
The May Financial Statement was approved by motion, seconded and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION AUTHRORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR WILLOW HEIGHTS HOUSING PROJECT
DRAINAGE AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS UNDER 1983 MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO. 903 No. 387 ,
The low bidder of Jack Burge Construction was recommended by Engineering Services,
• Inc., subject to HUD approved, was approved by motion, seconded and carried
unanimously.

Jim Shreve was elected Chairman and Robert Windham Vice Chairman, approved by
motion, seconded and carried unanimously.
There being no futher business, the meeting

RESOLUTION NO. 387
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
WILLOW HEIGHTS HOUSING PROJECT DRAINAGE AND SITE
IMPROVEMENTS UNDER 1983 MODERNIZATION PROGRAM NO.903.
WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Housing Authority received sealed bids
on June 21,1984 for Drainage and Site Improvement on Willow Heights
Housing Site, which bids have been opened, tabulated, and found to
be in proper form and ;
WHEREAS, the bids are as follows:
1. Archer -Henry Construction Co. $ 274,680.00
Springdale, Arkansas
2. Baldwin Construction Co. $ 251,965.50
Fayetteville, Arkansas
3. Jack Burge Construction
Fayetteville, Arkansas $ 223,788.00
WHEREAS, the low bidder of Jack Burge Construction Company with
the amount of 223,788.00 is recommended by Engineering Services Inc.,
consulting engineers.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas;
1. That the contract for Drainage and Site Improvement to
Willow Heights Housing Site b9 -awarded to Jack Burge
Construction Co. subject to HUD approval in amount of
$223,788.00.
2. That Bromo Wilson, Executive Director of the Housing Authority,
is hereby appointed to serve as contracting officer for the
project. The contracting offices is also delegated the
Authority to execute any and all (limited by the policies,
rules, and procedures as set forth by HUD) affecting the
contract.
