MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular
Session at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Wednesday, September 21, 1983 in the office of
the Authority, #1 North School Avenue, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Mr. Seaton, Chairman, Called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call, the following members were present:

a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
The minutes of the Ausust 17, 1983 Regular Meeting were approved by motion,
seconded and carried unanaimously.
The August Financial Statement was approved by motion, seconded and carried
unanimously.
RESOLUTION APPROVING
26-28, 1983 AT NORTH
Carried unanimously.
TRAVEL TO ARKANSAS CHAPTER NAHRO FALL MEETING, OCTOBER
LITTLE ROCK. Resolution No. 375 , seconded and
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WRITE-OFF OF CERTAIN NON -EXPENDABLE EQUIPMENT.
Resolution No. 376 , seconded and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION TO CHARGE-OFF DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS. Resolution No. 377
seconded and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION APPROVING SALARY INCREASES. Tabled until October meeting, the
commissioners request that Mr. Wilson present more information.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

FAYETTEVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAY-
EVILLE, that travel expenses for personnel designated
by the Executive Director be, paid to this meeting
in accordance with the Agency's travel policy:

EQUIPMENT LOST, DESTROYED, OR JUNKED.
the HUD manual 7510.1 provides for the write-off of
certain non -expendable equipment that is lost, destroyed
or junked, and
the most recent listiof equipment;thatthas been declared
not in working order and non -repairable and has been ,junked,
needs to be written off
NOW THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, that the following
list of equipment be written off the property ledger of
the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville

RESOLUTION TO CHARGE OFF DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS
A Resolution of the Board of Commissoners of the Housing
Authority of Fayetteville, Arkansas authorizing the charge off
of delinquent rents of certain former tenants in the ARK 97-1
and 2 project for period of October 1, 1982 to September 30, 1983.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Accounting Handbook RHM
7510.0, Chapter 3, Section 13, certain past due accounts in the
ARK 97-1 & 2 Low Rent Public Housing projects are considered un-.
collectable and all means of collections have been exhausted,
and there is no resonable prospect of collection of such de-
lingent rents and that the probable post of furtheriefforts:.to
colieot said rents would:.not be warranted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS,
THAT:
'_Accounts in the amounts designated, due from the former
tenants listed on the attached sheets are hereby authorized
to be charged off.
