MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the city of Fayetteville, Arkansas
met in Regular session at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 15,
1982, in the office of the Authority, #1 N. School, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
The following were Present:
Judy Endress, Sherman Morgan, Lloyd Seaton, Robert Windham,
and Jim Shreve.
Commissioners Absent: None
Others Present:
Bromo Wilson, Don Froning, and Betty Jordan.
There being a quorum present, the following business was
transacted:
The Minutes - August 23, 1982.
Moved by Mr. Seaton, seconded by Mr. Morgan, and carried.
• The August - Financial Statement.
Moved by Mr. Windham, seconded by Mrs. Endress, and carried.

RESOULTION #361, THE WRITE-OFF CERTAIN NON -EXPENDABLE EQUIPMENT
LOST, DESTROYED, OR ABANDONED.
Moved by Mr. Seaton, seconded by Mr. Windham, and carried.
RESOLUTION #362, TO CHARGE OFF DELINQUENT RENTS.
Moved by Mrs. Endress, seconded by Mr. Windham, and carried.
Other Business:
Mr. Froning, architect gave up -date report on New Housing.
Mr. Froning, stated to the Board, that there where still a
few minor repairs that would need to be done, before the Units
would be truned over to the Authority; such as a few exhaust fans,
the cloths line post, the interior, and some rocking will still
need to be done.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WRITE-OFF CERTAIN
NON -EXPENDABLE EQUIPMENT LOST, DESTROYED, OR ABANDONED
WHEREAS, the HUD Manual 7510.1 provide for the write-off of
certain non -expendable equipment that is lost, destroyed
or abandoned, and
WHEREAS, the most recent physical inventory declares certain
property that needs to be written off
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, that the following
equipment be written off the property ledger of the
Housing Authority of the city of Fayetteville as it is
non- repairable, and junked.

RESOLUTION TO CHARGE OFF DELINQUENT RENTS
A Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing
Authority of Fayetteville, Arkansas authorizing the charge off of
delinquent rents of certain former tenants in the ARK 97-1 project
for period of October 1, 1981 to September 30, 1982
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Accounting Handbook RHM 7510.0,
Chapter 3, Section 13, certain past due accounts in the ARK 97-1
Low Rent Housing project are considered uncollectable and all means
of collections have been exhausted, and there is no resonable
prospect of collection of such delinquent rents and that the proable
cost of further efforts to collect said rents would not be warranted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, THAT:
The rents in the amounts designated, due from the former
tenants listed on the attached sheet are hereby authorized
to be charged off.
