MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the city of Fayetteville, Arkansas
met in regular session at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, 1981
in the office of the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
Upon Roll Call, the following were present:
Commissioners Present: Mr. Shreve, Mr. Seaton, Mr. Windham,
and Mrs. Endress
Commissioners Absent: Mr. Morgan
Others Present: Mr. Kumpe, Mr. Wilson, Mrs. Donat and
Betty Jordan
There being a quorm present, the following business was
transacted:
The Minutes of the regular, March 18, 1981 meeting were approved
as amended. .Motion by Mr. Seaton, seconded Mrs. Endress, and
motion carried unanimously.
The. March, Financial Statement was approved by motion of Mr.
Shreve, seconded Mr. Seaton, and motion carried unanimously.
Ijesolution approving t'aye1 to. the Arkansas Chapter NAHRO spring
meeting in Memphis, TN. The Resolution was introduced by Mr.
Kumi,e, ''Motion by. MT. Windham, seconded by Mr. Seaton and
motion carried unanimously.
Other Business;
1. The Commissioners agreed it was feasible to purchase own tele-
phone system, normal purchasing procedures should be followed.
2,. Discussion of University Housing and, its relations to Rental
Assistant program. The Board would obtainlegal answer to ques-
tion of subsidizing Housing that is not open to=general public.
3.
The Director was instructed to formulate a plan that would
scatter Public Housing throughout Washington County.
After further discussion, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAVEL TO ARKANSAS CHAPTER NAHRO
SPRING MEETING, MAY 19-22, 1981
AT MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
ZEAS,
t he spring Meeting of Arkansas Chapter, NAHRO, will be
held at Memphis, Tenn. May 19-22, 1981,
AT MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE
t here will be programs including discussions concerning
Public Housing, Community Development, Section 8 Housing,
and, Arkansas Chapter business; and,
memb.exs of the staff of the Little Rock Area Office of HUD
will take part in panel discussions to answer questions and
d iscuss problems;
NQW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING
AUT.HORI:TY' OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, that travel, expenses
for personnel designated by the Executive Director be paid
t o this meeting in accordance with the Agency's policy.
