MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas
met in Regular Session at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 1980
in the office of the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
Upon Roll Call, the following were present:
Commissioners Present: Endress, Seaton, Windham
Commissioners Absent: Morgan, Shreve
Others present: Chad Kumpe, Bromo Wilson, Coretta.Edwards - Tenant
Supervisor, Barbara Ryan - Section 8 Manager, Wayne Whitehead -
Maintenance Foreman, Pat Donat, Newton Hailey
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
The Minutes of the September 17, 1980 Regular Meeting were approved
by motion of Mr. Seaton, seconded by Mrs. Endress and carried
unanimously.
The Minutes of the September 25, 1980 Special Meeting were approved,
as amended, by motion of Mrs. Endress, seconded by Mr. Seaton, and
carried unanimously.
After discussion, the September Financial Statement was approved
by motion of Mrs. Endress, seconded by Mr. Seaton and carried
unanimously.
The Housing Authority Commissioners discussed the Engineering Report
with the Employees of the Fayetteville Housing Authority. Subjects
discussed were: Mowing of Lawns, Area Lights on Willow, Request of
SWEPCO and Ark. Western Gas to take over Utilities, Modernization and
insulation of apartments, Security Deposits, and Cleaning of Stariwells
and Elevators in Hi -Rise.
The Section 8 Report was also discussed with the Housing Authority
employees. Subjects discussed were: More inspections on Section 8
Rental property per year.
A meeting with Coy Howard of HUD took place Tuesday, October 7, 1980
to look at Conventional Housing sites. Chad and Newton. Hailey, of
Hailey Powers Architects, gave a thorough report of sites that were
looked upon and what transpired at the meeting. The Board of Commissioners
gave their ideas and future plans were discussed.
RESOLUTION NO. 332
RESOLUTION APPROVING SALARY INCREASES
Resolution No. 332 was passed and approved by motion of Mr. Seaton,
seconded by Mrs. Endress and carried unanimously.

Discussion of the purchase of a Maintenance Truck was deferred til
the next meeting for estimates.
After further discussion, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION APPROVING SALARY INCREASES
WHEREAS:, the approyed budgets for the Housing Authority allows

NOWTHEREFORE, be'it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of
the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville that the title pro-
motions listed below are approved, effective November 1, 1980.
