OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met
in Regular Session at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, 1980 in
the Office of the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Upon Roll Call, the following were present:
Commissioners Present: Endress, Seaton, Morgan, Shreve
Commissioners Absent: Windham
Others Present: Chad Kumpe, Bromo Wilson, Newton Hailey, Pat Donat,
Fredia Sawin
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
The Minutes of the July•14, 1980 Regular Meeting were approved
by motion of'Mr. .Seaton, seconded by Mr. Morgan, and carried
mnani,t9ously%.
The Minutes, of the August 5, 1980 Special Meeting were approved
by motion of Mr. Seaton, seconded by Mr. Morgan, and carried
unanimously.
The July Financial Statement was approved by motion of Mr. Seaton,
seconded by Mr. Morgan, and parried unanimously.
RESOLUTION NO. 327
RESOULTION APPROVING NEW INCOME ADMISSION LIMITS
FOR LOW INCOME PUBLIC HOUSING PROJECT ARK 97-1
After discussion, Resolution No. 327 was passed and approved,
as amended, by motion of Mr. Seaton, seconded by Mr. Shreve,
and carried unanimously.
Mr. Kumpe announced to the Board of Commissioners that the City
Board elected to uphold the appeal on three viable sites. An
Appraiser is going to be in town this week to look at sites. HUD
will get back to us this Friday, August 22, on the Appraiser's
report. There are 30 units remaining.
The Commissioners agreed to meet with Newton Hailey, Architect,
Friday, August 22, at 5:00 p.m. to look at floor plans that are
to be submitted on Monday.
lir. Hailey and Associates were commended on the fine work they have
.done not' only professional but personal.
The HUD Engineering Report on inspection of apartments will be read
and discussed at next Regular Meeting.

1 The Stamp for the Section 8 Checks was discussed and it was asked
that Mr. Kumpe find out the HUD requirements on this matter and
it would be discussed at next Regular Meeting.
After further discussion, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION NO. 327
RESOLUTION APPROVING NEW INCOME ADMISSION LIMITS
FOR LOW INCOME PUBLIC HOUSING PROJECT ARK. 97-1
WHEREAS the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville
Arkansas has found and hereby determines that there is a need
for a change in income limits from the limits adopted by Resolution
No. 314 on September 19, 1979, and,
WHEREAS the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974
has provided for such change in the Federal Register, Volume 41,
No. 194, dated October 5, 1976; and,
WHEREAS such change was recommended by Notice from HUD
dated 7/21/80; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following schedule
of Income Limits be adopted:

No change is being made in the definition of net family income or
in the policies relating to exemptions and deductions. Further,
the exemption policy shall be so administered as to preclude the
admission of any family not of low income within the meaning of
Federal or applicable state laws. Further, the continued occupancy
limits on income and assets are eliminated.
