The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met
in Regular Session at 8:400 a.m., Wednesday, June 18, 1980 in the
office of the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Upon Roll Call, the following were present:
Commissioners Present: Shreve, Seaton, Endress, Morgan
Commissioners Absent: Windham
Others Present: Chad Kumpe, Bromo Wilson, Newton Hailey,
Pat Donat, Fredia Sawin
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
The Minutes of the May 21, 1980 Regular Meeting were approved by
motion of Mrs. Endress, seconded by Mr. Morgan, and carried unanimously.
The May Financial Statement was approved by motion of Mrs. Endress,
seconded by Mr. Morgan, and carried unanimously.
Chad mentioned to the Board that the Housing Authority had heard
back from the Auditor concerning the Audit Findings discussed, his
explanations referred to the HUD Manual. We have written the HUD
Area Office and everything has been taken care of.
Mr. Seaton advised that it would be good business practice to
require an annual audit, expecially for the Section 8 Program.
The Architect gave a report on the trip with the Appraiser from
HUD (Howard Bruce), two weeks ago, to look at the proposed eight
sites. After further discussion, the Board of Commissioners agreed
for Chad to compose a letter to the HUD Area Office, addressed to
Lloyd Clapsaddle, about the concern the Commissioners have on the
site selections.
After further discussion, the meeting was adjourned.
