OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met
in Special Session at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 1980 in the
office of the Authority #1 North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Upon Roll Call, the following were present:
Commissioners Present: Windham, Seaton, Endress
Commissioners Absent: Morgan, Shreve
Others Present: Chad Kumpe, Bromo Wilson, Fredia Sawin,
Pat Donat, Hailey -Powers Architects, Jeff
McLane, Channel 29 News, David McWethy
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
At the opening of the meeting, all Commissioners and guest present
were given a sheet showing 10 sites that had been evaluated by HUD.
Numbers 5, 8, & 9 were tentive turn downs and #10 was completely
turned down because of Commercial Back -Up.
Mr. Hailey gave the following estimated figures for the 52 Units of
Conventional Housing: It will take approximately $4,500 to $5,000
per unit and Land Acquisition leaving $200,000 to $250,000 for Land
Costs.
Mr. Hailey stated that they will meet next week with HUD to show
the final site selections. The Architects requested the feelings
of the Commissioners as to the sites shown on the sheet handed out,
this will help to negotiate with HUD.
After further discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Seaton: A set
guideline for the Architects to secure options on sites #1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 7, & 8, on the sheet given plus two single dwelling;:sites
(4 Bedroom) and attempt to meet proto type cost. Motion was
Made by Mr. Seaton, seconded by Mrs. Endress, and carried
unanimously.
After further discussion, the meeting was adjourned.

WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of the SPECIAL MEETING,
waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do
hereby consent and agree that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority
of Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at their regular meeting place at
2:30 p.m., on the 13th of May, 1980 for the following purposes:
1. Roll Call
2. Final Site Selection
