The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in
Regular Session at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 19, 1980 in the office
of the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville, ARkansas.
Upon Roll Call, the following were present:
Commissioners Present: Windham, Shreve, Endress, Morgan
Commissioners Absent: Seaton
Others Present: Chad Kumpe, Bromo Wilson, Fredia Sawin,
Pat Donat, Hailey -Powers Architects
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
The Minutes of the February 20, 1980 Regular Meeting were approved by
motion of Mr. Shreve, seconded by Mrs. Endress, and carried unanimously.
The February Financial Statement was approved by motion of Mrs. Endress,
seconded by Mr. Morgan, and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION NO. 320
RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAVEL TO ARKANSAS NAHRO MEETING
AND TO SOUTHWEST NAHRO MEETING
After discussion, Resolution No. 320 was approved by motion of Mrs. Endress,
seconded by Mr. Shreve, and carried unanimously.
Hailey -Powers Architects gave a presentation of 32 site locations to the
Board of Commissioners at 8:15 a.m. After the presentation was completed,
it was mentioned that this same presentation of site locations would be
given to HUD in Little Rock, Thursday,.March 20, 1980 at 9:00 a.m. This
will help confirm their views and to give the architects some idea on what
to look for when choosing sites. It was noted, what would be saved on land
will be recaptured in construction. The Architects orginally have 150 slides
of site locations. This means for every site they presented to the Board of
Commissioners there are probably four or more others. After further discussion
the Meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION NO. 320
RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAVEL TO ARKANSAS NAHRO
MEETING AND TO SOUTHWEST NAHRO MEETING
WHEREAS, the Spring Meeting of Arkansas NAHRO will be held in Eureka
Springs Arkansas May 6 - 9, 1980 and the Annual Meeting of Southwest
NAHRO will be held in St. Louis, Missouri June 1 - 3, 1980 and
, there will be programs including discussions concerning Public Housing,
Section 8 Housing and New Construction and
, members of the staff of the Regional and State Offices of HUD will
take part in panel discussions to answer questions and discuss problems;
REFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, that travel expenses for personnel designated
by the Executive Director be paid to these meetings in accordance with
the agency's travel policy.
