MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in
Special Session at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 7, 1979 in the
office of the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
upon roll call, the following were present:
Commissioners Present: Endress, Taylor, Windham, Morgan,
Seaton
Commissioners Absent: NONE
Others Present: Chad Kumpe, Bromo Wilson, Pat Donat, Hugh
Kincaid, Fredia Sawin
The Chairman ordered that the following Waiver and Consent be spread
upon the Minutes:
WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this SPECIAL MEETING,
waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do
hereby consent and agree that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority
of Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at their regular meeting place at
8:30 a.m., on the 7th day of February, 1979 for the following purposes:
1. Roll Call
2. Resolution To Exercise Option On Real Estate Purchase Ark R-105

/s/ Lloyd Seaton Jr.
/s/ Robert Windham
/s/ Philip Taylor
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
RESOLUTION N0. 304
RESOLUTION TO EXERCISE OPTION ON REAL ESTATE
PURCHASE ARK R-105
Chad explained that the City made a contribution to the Fayetteville
Housing Authority for the difference between the two amounts on Parcels
15-C and 15-F, to speed up the settlement for their benefit. Mr. Hugh
Kincaid explained the procedure in which to achieve this settlement.

After furthur discussion, Resolution #304 was approved by motion of
Mrs. Endress, seconded by Mr. Windham and carried unanimously.
There being no furthur business, the meeting was adjourned. -

RESOLUTION NO. 304
RESOLUTION TO EXERCISE OPTION ON REALLESTATE
PURCHASE ARK R-105
WHEREAS, on December 15th 1978 the Housing Authority in carrying out
its Urban Renewal Plan did deposit in court the following
amounts for quick taking condemnation: Parcel 15-C - $29,000
Parcel 15-F - $43,500
and WHEREAS, the property owners of the above mentioned properties have
offered to settle out of Court for the following amounts:
Parcel 15-C - $47,250
Parcel 15-F - $71,500
and WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville -has offered to contribute the
difference between these amounts as follows: Parcel 15-C - $18,250
Parcel 15-F - $28,000
so as to settle this by February 8th, so therefore BE IT RESOLVED
that the Housing Authority accept and exercise these options on
these properties as soon as, and on condition that, the City's
contribution is first received. BE IT FURTHUR RESOLVED, that
upon receipt of said contribution from the City the Housing
Authority be furthur authorized to execute a memorandum agreement
which the City reflects City's agreement to make said contributions.
The Director of the Authority is authorized to except said options and
agreement on behalf of the Authority when said contribution is
received.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 7th DAY OF February ,1979.
