MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in
Special Session at 8:30 a.m., Thursday, February 1, 1979 in the
office of the Authority, #1 North School, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
upon roll call, the following were present:
Commissioners Present: Endress, Windham, Seaton
Commissioners Absent: Morgan, Taylor
Others Present: Chad Kumpe, Bromo Wilson, Pat Donat, Fredia
Sawin
The Chairman ordered that the following Waiver and Consent be spread
upon the Minutes:
WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this Special Meeting,
waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do
hereby consent and agree that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority
of Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at their regular meeting place at
8:30 o'clock a.m., on the 1st day of February, 1979 for the following
purposes:
1. Roll Call
2. Resolution Awarding Demolition Contract on Parcels 15-C, 15-D, 15-E,
15-F, 17-C, & 17-D

/s/ Lloyd Seaton
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
RESOLUTION N0. 303
RESOLUTION AWARDINGG DEMOLITION CONTRACT ON PARCELS 15-C, 15-D, 15-E,
15-F, 17-C, & 17-D
Chad explained to the Board the procedure of awarding a Demolition Contract.
Mr. Seaton asked Mr. Kumpe the number of bidders, it was answered that there
were six bidders, two from Fayetteville, one from Oklahoma City, one from
Tulsa, Oklahoma (which was our low bidder), one from Joplin, Missouri, and
one from the state of Georgia. The highest bid was $41,000 and the lowest
was $13,450. After furthur discussion, Resolution #303 was approved by
motion of Mr. Seaton, seconded by Mrs. Endress and carried unanimously.
• There being no furghur business, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION AWARDING DEMOLITION CONTRACT ON PARCELS 15-C, 15-D, 15-E,
15-F, 17-C, & 17-D
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville has
opened bids on January 17, 1979, for the demolition of the structures on
parcels 15-C, 15-D, 15-E, 15-F, 17-C, and 17-D, and;
WHEREAS, the Triple
with a bid of $13,450,00;

Plus Wrecking Co., is the low bidder
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Housing Authority of
the City of Fayetteville enter into a contract with the Triple "A"
Plus Wrecking Co. for the demolition of these structures.
