MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, ARkansas met in
Special Session at 8:30 a.m., Friday, December 15, 1978 in the office
of the Authority, #1 North School,. Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Upon roll call, the following wer present:
Commissioners Present: Endress, Gould,:Morgan, Underwood
Commissioners Absent: Taylor
Others Present: Chad Kumpe, Promo Wilson, Pat Donat, Hugh Kincaid
Fredia Sawin
The Chairman Ordered that the following Waiver and Consent be spread upon
the Minutes:
WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this SPECIAL Meeting,
waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do
hereby consent and agree that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority
of Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at their regular meeting place at
8:30 o'clock a.m., on the 15th day of December, 1978 for the following
purposes:
1. Roll Call
2. Resolution Authorizing Condemnation Proceedings Against Certain
Properties In Project Ark. R-105

There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
RESOLUTION NO. 302
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION
PROCEEDINGS AGAINST CERTAIN PROPER-
TIES IN PROJECT ARK. R-105
After discussion Resolution #302 was approved by motion of Mr. Underwood,

seconded by Mr. Morgan and carried unanimously.
There being no furthur business, the meeting was adjourned.

302
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION
PROCEEDINGS AGAINST CERTAIN PROPER-
TIES IN PROJECT ARK. R-105
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, is carrying out the Center Square Urban Renewal
Project, No. ARK. R-105; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan for said project
authorizes the acquisition of certain properties; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority has made every
reasonable effort to acquire said properties by negotiation without
success.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE3CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. That the Housing Authority is hereby
authorized to initiate condemnation
proceedings against the attached
listing of properties.

2. That said proceedings shall be in
accordance with all HUD regulations
and State and Federal Laws.
3. That said condemnations shall be by
quick taking procedure and posting
of deposits with amount of the ac-
quisition prior heretofore fixed by
the Authority; provided concurrence
byThUD shall first be obtained before
;instituting said quick taking procedure.
