Plaza tenant's organization has had a recent election and is doing
quite well in having programs and activities for the community.
He further explained that Willow Heights' tenant's organization
has always been rather loosely organized. Mrs. Knoll is interested
in requesting funding for the landscaping and clean-up, which Mr. Kumpe
explained would probably come through CETA funding. Mrs. Knoll also
requested that. the Board have a joint meeting with the tenants to
discuss and get ideas on the problems of the community. Mr. Taylor
and Mr. Gould agreed that this would be a good thing and for Mr. Kumpe
and Mrs. Knoll to set a suitable time when the most tenants could
attend. Mr. Kumpe also stated that the Housing Authority has $1,300
excess modernization funds that might possibly be used toward this
project and the Lewis Plaza project. This manner of expending these
funds would have to be approved by the Little Rock Area HUD office.
