MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in
Special Session at 11:55 o'clock a.m., on Tuesday, July 27, 1976,
in the office of the Authority, $1 North School Avenue, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
Commissioners Present: Gould, Clinton
Commissioners Absent: Underwood, Taylor, Morgan
Others Present: Chad Kumpe, Brom Wilson, Delbert Allen,
Pat Warford, Pat Donat, Don Grimes, Perry Franklin,
Tommy Hodges, Jack Castin
The Chairman ordered that the following Waiver and Consent be spread
upon the Minutes:
• WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING

We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this SPECIAL MEETING,
waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do
hereby consent and agree that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority
of Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at their regular meeting place at
11:55 a.m., on Tuesday, July 27, 1976, for the following purposes:
1. Roll Call
2. Interim report on the parking and traffic study.

It was noted that a quorum was not present; however, since no action was
to be taken by the Board, the ceportiwaszpresen:ted to the Board members
and others present.
According to the report there are 1,250 parking spaces at present. However,
if all the redevelopment in the Square area occurs that is being planned,
there will be a need for approximately. 850 new spaces. The report also
established the peak hours for parking in the downtown area and the average
length of time the spaces are occupied. Mr. Hodges stated that traffic
study patterns are underway at the present time and a full report and
recommendations will be presented within 45 days.
