MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in
Regular Session at 8:30 o'clock a.m., Wednesday, July 21, 1976,
in the office of the Authority, $1 North School Avenue, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
Mr. Gould, Chairman, called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call the following members were present:
Commissioners: Gould, Clinton, Underwood, Morgan, Taylor
Commissioners Absent: None
Others Present: Chad Kumpe, Bromo Wilson, Delbert Allen,
Toady Edwards, Pat Donat, Kay Speed
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

the June 16, 1976 Regular Meeting were approved by
Clinton, seconded by Mr. Underwood, and carried
the June 21, 1976 Special Meeting were approved by
Underwood, seconded by Mr. Morgan, and carried
the June 28, 1976 Special Meeting were approved by
Underwood, seconded by Mr. Taylor, and carried
the July 2, 1976 Special Meeting were approved by
Underwood, seconded by Mr. Morgan, and carried
The June Financial Statement was approved by motion of Mr. Clinton,
seconded by Mr. Taylor, and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION NO. 234
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH
ERNIE E. JACKS, ARCHITECT
After discussion, Resolution No. 234 was approved by motion of
Mr. Underwood, seconded by Mr. Taylor, and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION NO. 235
RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAVEL TO NAHRO TPP NATIONAL
EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE FORUM II

After discussion, Resolution No. 235 was approved by motion of
Mr. Clinton, seconded by Mr. Underwood, and carried unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION NO. .Q3
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH
ERNIE E. JACKS, ARCHITECT
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville
passed and approved on the 17th day of September, 1976, Resolution r
No. 200 approving the enclosure of breezeway in the Hi -Rise building;
and,
WHEREAS funds have been committed by the Community Development
Agency of Fayetteville for this work; and,
WHEREAS the Fayetteville Housing Authority has been appointed,
agent to carry out the work; and,
WHEREAS the Housing Authority needs the services of an
architect in doing this modification;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE to enter into
a contract with Ernie E. Jacks, Architect, for the following services
with the contract price not to exceed $2,000.00:
Prepare drawings, specifications, bid documents and contract
documents; assist in advertising for bids and award of the
construction contract and provide observation during
construction to assure compliance with the plans and
specifications.

RESOLUTION NO. O 35
RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAVEL TO NAHRO TPP NATIONAL
EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE FORUM II
WHEREAS the Housing is carrying out activities in the Target
Project Program and participating in the NAHRO TPP Service Program;
and,
WHEREAS NAHRO is having a TPP Experience Exchange Forum II in
Nashville, Tennessee August 15-18; and,
WHEREAS all agencies participating in TPP Service Program have
been urged to attend and funds have been advanced for this purpose;
and,
WHEREAS, it would be beneficialto the Housing Authority to have
a representative attend;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Assistant Executive
Director be authorized to attend the above mentioned forum and travel
expenses be paid in accordance with the agency&s travel policy.
