MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in
Special Session at 11:55 o'clock a.m., Monday, June 28, 1976, in
the office of the Authority, #1 North School Avenue, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
Mr. Gould, Chairman, called the meeting to order.
Upon roll call the following members were present:
Commissioners: Gould, Clinton, Morgan, Taylor, Underwood
Commissioners Absent: None
Other Present: Chad Kumpe, Delbert Allen, Pat Warford,
Pat Donat, Kay Speed, Floyd Pothast, Phyllis Pope
The Chairman ordered that the following Waiver and Consent be spread
upon the Minutes:
WAILER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this SPECIAL MEETING,
waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do
hereby consent and agree that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority
of Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at their regular meeting place at
11:55 a.m., on Monday, June 28, 1976, for the following purposes:
1. Roll Call
2. Resolution Accepting Development Plan and Authorizing Execution
of Contract for Sale of Land in Project Ark. R-105
3. Discussion of letter from McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc.

RESOLUTION NO. 232
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT FOR SALE OF LAND IN PROJECT ARK. R-105
Mr. Kumpe introduced Mr. Floyd A. Pothast of Pothast Realty Company.
Mr. Pothast has submitted a redeveloper's statement and offer to
purchase Parcel C-2, Center Square Project Ark. R-105, 35 N. Block,
Fayetteville, Arkansas. Mr. Pothast stated that he intends to
move his realty company into this building. However, whether or
not he does move into the building, he intends to bring the building
up to standard with plumbing work and electrical wiring and a new
roof.
After discussion, Resolution No. 232 was approved by motion of
Mr. Clinton, seconded by Mr. Taylor, and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION NO. 233
RESOLUTIONUAPPROVING CONTRACT WITH MCCLELLAND CONSULTING
ENGINEERS INC.
This resolution concerns entering into contract with McClelland
Consulting Engineers Inc. for services regarding preparing
drawings, specifications, contract documents, etc. regarding
needed repair to the Old Post Office building. This was previously
discussed at the June 16 Regular Meeting. After discussion,
Resolution No. 233 was approved by motion of Mr. Underwood, seconded
by Mr. Morgan, and carried unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

RESOLUTION NO. 232
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT FOR SALE OF LAND IN PROJECT ARK. R-105
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, has advertised for development proposals on certain
project lands, and;
WHEREAS, said proposals have been received and reviewed
by the Authority;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. The redevelopment proposal submitted by
Floyd A. Pothast
is found to be in conformance with the offering documents
and is considered the better of the plans submitted, and
is hereby accepted.
2. The Chairman and Secretary are hereby authorized and
instructed to execute a Contract for Sale of Land with
said developer for disposition parcel C-2 in Project
Ark. R-105.

RESOLUTION NO. 233
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH MCCLELLAND CONSULTING
ENGINEERS INC.
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville
has become aware of certain needed repairs to the Old Post Office
building in the Center Square project, and;
WHEREAS, these repairs need to be made before the building
can be advertised for sale;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Housing Authority
enter into a contract with McClelland Consulting Engineers Inc.
for the following services, with a contract price not to exceed
$2;150.00:
Prepare drawings, specifications, bid documents and contract
documents; assist in advertising for bids and award of the
construction contract and provide observation during
construction to assure compliance with the plans and
specifications.
