MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in
Regular Session at 8:30 o'clock a.m., on Wednesday, May 15, 1974,
in the office of the Housing Authority, #1 North School Avenue,
Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Mr. Gould, Vice -Chairman, called the meeting to order.
On roll call the following members were present:
Messrs: Commissioners: Gould, Clinton, Underwood,
Absent: Commissioner Whillock and Morgan
Others: Robert Dugan, Bromo Wilson, Delbert Allen,
Hugh Kincaid, Mayor Russell Purdy
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 17, 1974 were approved by
motion of Mr. Clinton and seconded by Mr. Underwood, and carried
unanimously.
The Minutes of the Special Meeting of May 3, 1974 were approved by
motion of Mr. Clinton and seconded by Mr. Underwood, and carried
unanimously.
The Financial Report of April was also approved by motion of Mr.
Clinton and seconded by Mr. Underwood, and carried unanimously.
The problem of long life light bulbs was brought up. Mr. Underwood
suggested buying light bulbs by the case. Mr. Dugan will check to
see if long life bulbs are really a savings at all.
RESOLUTION #154
RESOLUTION UPDATING VALUE OF CONDEMNED PROPERTY
AS OF THE DATE OF TAKING
After discussion, Resolution #154 was adopted by motion of Mr. Underwood
and seconded by Mr. Clinton, and carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION #155
RESOLUTION APPROVING MAINTENANCE WAGE RATE
DETERMINATIONS AND CHANGING THE EFFECTIVE
DATE TO COINCIDE WITH THE FISCAL YEAR
After discussion, Resolution #155 was adopted by motion of Mr. Clinton
and seconded by Mr. Underwood, and carried unanimously.

There was no further business to discuss so Mr. Gould adjourned the
meeting.

RESOLUTION NO. 154
RESOLUTION UPDATING VALUE OF CONDEMNED PROPERTY
AS OF THE DATE OF TAKING
WHEREAS, parcel 28-1 was condemned by the Housing Authority of
the City of Fayetteville based on older appraisals; and
WHEREAS, a new appraisal, as of the date of taking has been
made;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville that the
value of parcel 28-1 be updated to establish a fair market value
of $91,350.

RESOLUTION NO. 155
RESOLUTION APPROVING MAINTENANCE WAGE RATE
DETERMINATIONS AND CHANGING THE EFFECTIVE
DATE TO COINCIDE WITH THE FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the Annual Contributions Contract entered into
between the Housing and Urban Development and the Fayetteville
Housing Authority requires that manual workers employed by the
Authority should be paid not less than the wages prevailing in
the locality, and;
WHEREAS, the following wage rate determinations have
been made by the Labor Department for manual workers employed by
the Local Authority pursuant to Section 16(2) of the United States
Housing Act as amended effective June 16, 1974, and June 16, 1975,
and;

WHEREAS, the Local Authority believes it would contribute
to the smooth management of fiscal affairs to change the October 1,
1974, and October 1, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE:
The effective date of the wage rates be changed as
follows:
