THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, met
in Special Session at 8:30 o'clock A.M., on Wednesday, December 12, 1973
in the office of the Authority, #1 North School Avenue, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
Mr. Whillock, Chairman, called the meeting to order.
On roll call the following members were present:
Messrs; Commissioners Whillock, Gould, Shelton, Morgan,
Clinton
Absent: None
Others Present: Mayor Russell Purdy, Mr. Robert Dugan, Bromo
Wilson, Pat Donat, Hugh Kincaid
The Chairman ordered that the following Waiver and Consent be spread
upon the minutes:
WAIVER OF NOTICE AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this
SPECIAL,meeting, waiving any and all irregularities
in the service of notice and do hereby consent and agree
that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of
Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at their regular
meeting place at 8:30 o'clock A.M., on the 12th day of
December, 1973 for the following purposes:

Mr. Dugan reported that Mr. Garland Melton will be at the Regular
Meeting, December 19th.
Mr. Dugan also stated that there will be two Christmas parties in
East Fayetteville. The tenants had formed committies to plan the
parties and great interest has been shown. They want to form a
welcoming committee to visit each new tenants and welcome them to
the project.
Motion was made by Mr. Clinton that we recommend Mr. Gould to be
nominated for a third term as commissioner for the Housing Authority.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morgan and was carrieddunaminously.
Mr. Whillock announced salary increases for the following employees:
Rose Crumpler to $500.00 per month
Pat Warford to $400.00 per month
Lorene LeJune to $600.00 per month
Delbert Allen to $9,600 per year
Bromo Wilson to $11,800 per year
Robert Dugan to $16,500 per year
These salaries will become effective January 1, 1974 with the
exception of Rose Crumpler whose salary will become effective in
a month or so. Motion was made by Mr. Gould to accept these salaries
and was seconded by Mr. Mr. Morgan and carriedcunanimously.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
