HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas
met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 19,
1970, in the Director's Room of the City Administration
Building.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman and on roll
call the following members were present:
Messrs.: Whillock, Gould, Douglas
Absent: Baxter, Shelton
Others: Wesley Howe, Ernest Jacks, Ora Belle Rollow
The minutes of the Special meeting of August 3, 1970 were
approved by motion of Mr. Gould, seconded by Mr. Douglas
and carried unanimously.
The financial report for the month of July was approved by
motion of Mr. Gould, seconded by Mr. Douglas and carried
unanimously.
Joe Malcom, Joplin, Missouri, was interviewed by the Board
. of Commissioners for the position of Assistant Executive
Director. No decision was made pending consideration of
another applicant, Michael McDowell, Parsons, Kansas.
Ernest Jacks, Architect, reported on progress of construction
of low rent housing:
Kelley -Nelson Const. Co., Progress scheduled 298
Sites A & B Progress estimated 158
Brennan -Boyd Const, Co., Progress scheduled 218
Site J Progress estimated 158
The Executive Director reported that James Larrison would
begin the study on Land Utilization and Marketability on
Tuesday, August 25th.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
