Boz 4186 - 72701 - HI 2-2902 MAY 26, 1970 NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas will be held at the Administrative Office of the Fayetteville Housing Authority in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., on the 27th day of May, 1970, for the purpose of considering and adopting: • RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR PLANNING ADVANCE FOR SURVEYS AND PLANS FOR URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT UNDER TITLE I OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949, AS AMENDED, NUMBERED CONTRACT NO, ARK, R -105(A), BY AND BETWEEN THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and for the purpose of transacting any other business which may properly come before such meeting. Dated this 26th day of 4an 1970. `'�/` z Chairman 47) rIr•e 0 WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this SPECIAL meeting, waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do hereby consent and agree that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at the Admini- strative Office of the Fayetteville Housing Authority at 8:00 o'clock PM on the 27th day of May, 1970 for the following purposes: To Consider & Adopt • RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR PLANNING ADVANCE FOR SURVEYS AND PLANS FOR URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT UNDER TITLE I OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949, AS AMENDED, NUMBERED CONTRACT NO. ARK. R -105(A), BY AND BETWEEN THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA . Cl MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS HELD ON THE 27TH DAY OF MAY, 1970 On the 27th day of May, 1970 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Special Session. The meeting was called to order and on roll call the following members of the body were present: MESSRS: Whillock - Shelton - Douglas - Gould - Baxter ABSENT: None OTHERS: Hugh Kincaid - Wesley Howe - Dr. Garland Melton - Ellis Burgin - Tom Reed - Ora Belle Rollow The Chairman ordered that the following Waiver and Consent be spread upon the Minutes: WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this Special Meeting, waiving any and all irregularities in • the service of notice and do hereby consent and agree that the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, shall meet in the Administrative Office of the Fayetteville Housing Authority in the city of Fayetteville, Arkansas, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., on the 27th day of May, 1970, for the purpose of considering and adopting: 0 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR PLANNING ADVANCE FOR SURVEYS AND PLANS FOR URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT UNDER TITLE I OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949, AS AMENDED, NUMBERED CONTRACT NO. R -105(A), BY AND BETWEEN THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and for the purpose of transacting any other business which may properly come before such meeting. Baxter • There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Whillock, read in full and considered: RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR PLANNING ADVANCE FOR SURVEYS AND PLANS FOR URBAN RE- NEWAL PROJECT UNDER TITLE I OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949, AS AMENDED, NUMBERED CONTRACT NO. ARK, R -105(A), BY AND BETWEEN THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. After discussion, Commissioner Douglas moved that the Resolution be adopted as introduced and read. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Baxter, and the following vote was recorded: AYES: Whillock - Baxter- Shelton - Gould - Douglas NAYS: None The Chairman thereupon declared the motion carried and • the Resolution adopted. There being no further business to come before the meeting, Commissioner Baxter moved that the meeting adjourn, which motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Gould and carried by unanimous vote.
