HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-02-09 - Minutes - ArchiveWAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this SPECIAL meeting, waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do hereby consent and agree that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at their regular meeting place at 7:00 o'clock p,M,on the 9th day Of February 1969 for the following purposes: To consider a recommendation by the Regional Office fo HUD that seven (7) deductive alternates submitted by tham be included in the Invitation • for Bid for construction of 200 dwelling units being developed by the Housing Authority, and To set a date and time for Bid opening. 4. MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE • HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS A Special Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held on the 9th day of February 1970, at 7:00 P.M. in the City Administration Building. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman and on roll call the following members were present: Messrs. Whillock, Douglas, Gould Absent: BAxter, Shelton Also Present: Ora Belle Rollow, Warren Segraves, Ernest Jacks. The Chairman ordered the following waiver and consent be spread upon the Minutes: WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING We, the undersigned, do hereby accept notice of this Special Meeting, waiving any and all irregularities in the service of notice and do hereby consent and agree that the Commissioners of the Housing Authority 40 of Fayetteville, Arkansas shall meet at their regular meeting place at 7:00 P.M. on the 9th day of February 1970 for the following purposes: 140 To consider a recommendation by the Regional Office of HUD that seven (7) deductive alternates submitted by them be included in the Invitation for Bid for construction of 200 dwelling units being developed by the Housing Authority, and, To set a date and time for Bid opening. The list of suggested alternates was presented, ( herewith attached). Each item was thoroughly discussed as to merit and comparative cost. Mr. Gould moved that alternate #3 be accepted and made a part of the Invitation to Bid and that the remaining alternates be rejected. Mr. Douglas seconded and the following vote cast: l . Mr. Gould moved that the Bid Invitation go out no later than February 13th and Bid opening date and time be March 26th, 1970 at 2:30 P.M. in the Administration Building of the City. Mr. Doulas seconded and the Chaiman declared the motion carried after the following vote: Ayes: Whilook, Douglas, Gould Nayes: None There being no further business the ChairmaN declared the meeting adjourned.
