MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
OF THE HOUSING AUTHROTIY OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTE`jILLE, ARKANSAS,
DECEMBER 20, 1967
The regular meeting of the Housing Authority of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, was held atf10;00 a,m. Wednesday, December 20, 1967
in the Director's Room, City administration Building, Fayetteville,
Members Present: Ellis Shelton, Hal Douglas, J.W.Gould
Carl Whillock
Members Absent: L,L. Baxter
In the absence of the Chairman Mr. Baxter, the Vice -Chairman
Mr. Shelton conducted the meeting.
Minutes of the November 15th, 1967 meeting were distributed
and approved by motion of Mr. Douglas, seconded by Mr.Gould
and motion carried.
The financial
report was
accepted
by motion of Mr.
Gould,
seconded by Mr.
Douglas
and motion
carried.
The
following
Resolution was
introduced by the Chairman and
read
in full
by Mr, Kincaid:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSAL FOR SURVEY BY J.E.MCCLELLAND
CONSULTING ENGINEER.
Mr. Whillock moved that the resolution, attached hereto, be
adopted, seconded by Mr. Douglas and the following vote was
recorded:
AYES: Shelton, Gould, Douglas, Whillock
Nayes: None
Whereupon the Chairman declared the motion carried and the
Resolution adopted,
The Chairman announced that the term of office of Mr. Douglas
expires December 29, 1967, Mr, Whillock moved that Mr. Douglas
be reappointed to succeed himself for a five year term. The
motion was seconded by Mr. Gould and the following vote was
recorded:
AYES: Shelton, Gould, Whillock, Abstaining: Douglas
NAYES: None
The Chariman declared the motion carried.
There was no further business and the eeting wa journed.

RESOLUTION N0,16
WHEREAS, J,E,McClelland, Consulting Engineer, of Fayetteville,
Arkansas has submitted a Proposal for Survey, dated 29th day
of November, 1967 and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the
City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, have forthwith considered
said proposal and desire to accept same,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE
IT
RESOLVED BY
THE COMMISSIONERS
OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF
THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS;
That the proposal for survegrn�;ubmitted by J,E,McClelland
dated 29th day of November, 1967 be and the same is hereby a"." -`)a
approved and the chairman of this Authority is hereby authorized
and directed to execute the acceptance of said proposal,
