• MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
A regular meeting of the Housing Authority of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, was held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 1S, 1967,
in the Director's Room in the City Administration Building
Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Members present: Hal Douglas, J. W. Gould, J. E. Pomfret
and Ellis Shelton.
Members absent: L. L. Baxter.
Also
present:
Hugh
Kincaid,
Warren Segraves
and J.A. Vizzier.
The
meeting was
called
to order
by Vice-chairman
Ellis Shelton.
The approval of the minutes was postponed until the minutes of
all past meetings have been typed and the chairman is present
to sign them.
J. A. Vizzier gave a report on the prograss of the low -rent
housin- project. Data on the three preferred sites and three
alternate sites has been submitted to the Public Housing Admini-
stration. John Cotter, of the Fort Worth Regional office of the
Housing Assistance Administration will be in Fayetteville next
Wednesday and Thursday, February 22 and 23, to inspect the sites.
Resolutions amending the areas and the funds for the downtown
General Neighborhood Renewal Plan and for the downtown project
survey and plan were approved by the City Board of Directors
on Monday, February 6.
J. W. Gould moved that the meeting be adjourned, and J.E. Pomfret
seconded the motion. The motion was passed unanimously, and the
Vice-chairman declared the meeting was adjourned.
