MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
A special meeting of the Housing Authority of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was
held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 1966, in the Board of
Directors' Room in the City Administration Building, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
Members present: L. L. Baxter, Hal Douglas, Bill Gould and Ellis Shelton.
Members absent: J. E. Pomfret.
Others present: J. A. Vizzier, Planning Consultant; Howell Trumbo and
Steve Cummings, representatives of Iiome Builders
Association; and J. D. Eagle, representative of Real
Estate Board.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman L. L. Baxter,
The Chairman reported the purpose of this special meeting was to meet
with a representative of the Public Housing Administration.
Planning Consultant J. A. Vizzier introduced to the Housing Authority
Mr. R. R. Hawkins, acting Assistant Director for Programs from the Fort
Worth Regional Office. The meeting was turned over to Mr. Hawkins
who explained the new housing act of 1965. Time was given for questions.
After the explanation, Hal. Douglas moved to adjourn. The motion eras
seconded by Bill Gould and passed unanimously. The Chairman declared
the meeting adjourned.
