MINUTES OF A MEETING
OF THE
FAYETTEVILLE FIRE PENSION AND RELIEF FUND BOARD
JANUARY 5, 2001
A meeting of the Fayetteville Fire Pension and Relief Fund Board was held on January 5, 2001
(for the December 2000 meeting) in Room 313 of the City Administration Building located at
113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
PRESENT: Mayor Coody, Marion Doss, Danny Farrar, Ronnie Wood, and City Clerk Heather
Woodruff.
ABSENT: John Dill and Pete Reagan
MINUTES
Mr. Wood moved to approve the minutes. Mr. Doss seconded the motion. Upon roll call the
motion carried unanimously.
PENSION LIST.
Mr. Doss explained the pension list was a list of the retirees and widows that were currently
drawing off the fund. Any changes to the list were normally noted in the minutes.
• Ms. Woodruff stated Mr. Doss had been added to the Drop List.

Mr. Farrar moved to approve the Pension List. Mr. Wood seconded the motion. Upon roll call
the motion carried unanimously.
BENEFIT INCREASE
Mr. Doss explained that at the last meeting they had discussed a benefit increase. Pete Reagan
had moved to approve an expenditure from the pension fund to pay for a cash flow study for the
purpose of a benefit increase. They had also approved a resolution requesting a benefit increase
The resolution they had signed requesting the benefit increase had been in the wrong form.
Ms. Woodruff stated the original resolution had contained sections which did not apply to their
fund. A revised resolution was presented for signatures.
Mayor Coody asked if this would increase any city expenditures.
Mr. Doss explained it was not a city expenditure that it would be coming from their fund.
Mr. Wood moved to sign the revised resolution. Mr. Doss seconded the motion. Upon roll call
the motion carried unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 11:20 p.m.
