MINUTES OF
FIRE PENSION BOARD
A meeting of the Fayetteville Firemen's Pension and Relief Board was held on Thursday, April
23, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. In room 326 of the City Administration Building, 113 W. Mountain,
Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Present:
Absent:
Marion Doss, Bill Morris, Ron Wood, and Heather Woodruff.
Mayor Fred Hanna, Pete Reagan, and Darrell Judy.
CALL TO ORDER
Marion Doss called the meeting to order.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Wood moved to approve the minutes with corrections. Mr. Morris seconded the motion. The
motion carried unanimously.
PENSION LIST
• Mr. Morris moved to approve the pension list with the additions of Mr. Dill and Mr. Gage. Mr.
Wood seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.

In response to questions from Mr. Doss, Ms. Woodruff stated Mr. Freedle's name would be
added to the May pension list.
OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Doss stated the active members had nominated Pete Reagan for another term. Darrell Judy
and Carl Springston had been nominated by the retired members. He suggested Mr Reagan be
appointed by accumulation, since he was the only nominee.
Mr. Morris moved to appoint Mr. Pete Reagan by accumulation.
Mr. Wood seconded the motion.
The motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Doss noted the Board had signed the agreement with Ashland Management.

Mr. Doss questioned if the active Drop applicants were to vote as a retiree or as an active
member. He noted the formula for voting as active or inactive was listing the state law.
Mr. Wood moved to adjourned. Mr. Moms seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned at
11:30 a.m.
