OLD BUSINESS PENSION AMOUNT FOR YEARS WORKED AFTER 20 YEARS OF SERVICE Danny Farrar stated he had been contacted by Joe Fraley who was wondering when the amount changed from $5.00 to $20.00 per month per year for years worked in excess of 20. Mickey Jackson stated it was after 1985 and thought it was in 1987. Thomas stated she would research the matter and report back at the next pension meeting. ACTUARY REPORT Baird stated he had missed the last meeting, but he asked if the actuary report had been discussed. Mayes stated the information for the report has been forwarded to the actuary by the City, and the report would be ready sometime in May or June. Baird asked if at the report by Merrill Lynch at the last meeting was there anything in particular that was reported. Mayes stated that the portfolio was up in market value, and the year end report looked good. • February 27, 1992 PHYSICALS Farrar asked if physicals were discussed for the disabled retirees. PENSION HANDBOOK Doss asked if the Arkansas Municipal League still prepared a manual of only the fire pension statutes. He stated he had an old one, and he felt one of these for the pension board members would be very beneficial. • Linebaugh stated he did not think the League prepared those manuals anymore. However, all of the pension laws are in the Municipal League Handbook, and he would get a copy for the pension board. 1 ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 11:14 a.m. SW
