AND RELIEF FUND BOARD
NOVEMBER 6, 1972
4:30 P.M. CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE
Present: Chairman Donald L. Grimes, Treasurer Pat Tobin, Secretary Helen
Young, Richard Baird, Bill Boudrey and Howard Boudrey.
Members Absent: Fire Chief Charles McWhorter and Harold Lee.
Minutes of the October 9. 1972 meeting had been previously distributed to
the board members. There were no corrections or additions to the minutes.
Treasurer Pat Tobin presented Pension Authorization Form for the month of
November with no changes. Howard Boudrey moved to approve the Pension
Authorization Form for November. Bill Boudrey seconded the motion. The
motion passed unanimously.
Treasurer Pat Tobin reported that a cost estimate of $500 has been received
from Morton and Company for performing the actuary study. Bill Boudrey
stated that the matter of whether to have the actuary study performed would
have to go before the Firemen's Asso�iation. Mr. Tobin recommended that
Morton and Company be hired to perform the study if the Firemen's
Association approves it.
Mr. Tobin reported that the cash balance in the Firemen's Pension and Relief
Fund at this time is $17,244. Mr. Tobin suggested that $10,000 be added to
the $100,000 that was reinvested last month at 6.25 percent. Howard Boudrey
moved to add $10,000 to the $100,000 which was invested last month. Richard
Baird seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
There being no further business, Bill Boudrey moved the meeting be adjourned.
Howard Boudrey seconded the motion which passed unanimously, whereupon
Chairman Donald Grimes declared the meeting adjourned.
