MINUTES OF FETING OF FIREMEN'S PENSION
AND RELIEF FUND BOARD
JULY 5, 1972
4:30 P.M. CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE
Present: Acting Chairman Charles McWhorter, Treasurer Pat Tobin,
Secretary Helen Young, Richard Baird, Howard Boudrey and Bill Boudrey.
Members Absent: Harold Lee, Donald Grimes.

Howard
Boudrey moved the
minutes be approved. Richard
Baird seconded the
motion.
Upon roll call the
motion passed unanimously.
Treasurer Pat Tobin presented Pension Authorization Form for the month of
July with no changes. Howard Boudrey moved to approve the Pension Authori-
zation Form. Bill Boudrey seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion
passed unanimously.
The board members discussed the fact that for the past several months
Mrs. Hal Lane has requested that her pension check be issued early. It
was the will of the board to postpone any action on the matter until next
month. Fire Chief McWhorter commented that if Mrs. Lane continues to
. request that her check be issued early, it may be necessary to advise her
in writing that the checks will be mailed when they are written and checks
will not be issued early.
Fire Chief McWhorter reported that Mr. Bill Andrews has requested that his
contributions to the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund be refunded. Mr.
Andrews was a part -paid fireman for nine years. Fire Chief McWhorter
agreed to check on the amount which Mr. Andrews had paid into the fund and
report it at the next meeting.
Treasurer Pat Tobin reported that the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund
has $10,591 in cash at this time.
Fire Chief McWhorter announced that he would bring to the next meeting the
data to be submitted for the study of the Firemen's Pension and Relief
Fund.
There being no further business Howard Boudrey moved to adjourn and Richard
Baird seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously whereupon Acting
Chairman McWhorter declared the meeting adjourned.
