DIRECTORS ROOM Present: Treasurer and Acting Chairman Pat Tobin, City Clerk Helen Young, Fire Chief Charles McWhorter, Paul Logue, Howard Boudrey. Absent: Dean Harris, Harold Lee, Minutes of the March 6, 1972 meeting had been previously distributed to the board members and upon roll call the minutes were unanimously approved as being accurate. Pension authorization forms were presented by Treasurer Tobin with no changes. Motion was made by Fire Chief McWhorter to approve the pension authorization forms as submitted. Howard Boudrey seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Fire Chief. McWhorter announced that $71.46 is the amount to be deposited in the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund as three percent of the part -paid firemen's salaries for 1971. Fire Chief McWhorter asked that it be recorded in the minutes that Randall Wright deposited $667.45 in the Firemen's Pension and Relief • Fund for reinstatement of his pension contributions. The City Clerk was asked to write a letter to serve as a receipt for Mr. Wright. Fire Chief McWhorter reported that a certificate of deposit in the amount of $30,000 at First Federal Savings and Loan matured on March 3, 1972, Treasurer Tobin explained that this amount was automatically re -invested and no action was needed. The matter will be discussed further at the next meeting. Treasurer Pat Tobin reported that there is approximately $12,000 in cash in the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund at the present time. There being no further business Paul Logue moved to adjourn, Howard Boudrey seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously whereupon Acting Chairman Tobin.declared the meeting adjourned.
