HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-12-06 Minutes0 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING BOARD OF TRUSTEES FIREMEN'S PENSION AND RELIEF FUND December 6, 1971 The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Controller's Office in the City Administration Building on Monday, December 6, 1971, at 4:30 P.M. Present: Secretary LoVetta Moore, Treasurer Patrick J. Tobin, Fire Chief Charles McWhorter, and Board Members: Paul Logue, Harold Lee and Howard Boudrey. Absent: Chairman Wesley M. Howe and Board Member Dean Harris. Chief McWhorter served as Acting Chairman in the absence of Chairman Howe. The minutes of the last regular meeting on November 1, 1971, copies of which had previously been distributed to each of the Board members, were approved. The Secretary presented the Authorization Form to pay the December pensions. • Mr. Boudrey moved that the disbursements be allowed. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lee, and upon roll call passed unanimously. Acting Chairman McWhorter reported that any action on raising the volunteer firemen's pension pay would have to be deferred until a time when full membership was present at the meeting and voting. There being no further business, Mr. Boudrey moved that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lee and passed unanimously, whereupon the Acting Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
