FIREMEN'S PENSION & RELIEF FUND

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension & Relief Fund
of Fayetteville Arkansas, was held in the Board of Directors' Room in the City
Administration Luilding on Monday, August 7, 1967, at 4:45 P. M.
Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, Secretary George J. Davis, and Board Members:
Bill Harris and Doyle Morrison.
Absent: Mayor Don Trumbo, Treasurer Albert J. Jones, and Board Members: Charles
McWhorter and Clarence Tune.
In the absence of Chairman Mayor Don Trumbo, Fire Chief again acted as Chairman Pro Tem.
The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, July 3, 1967, were read and approved.
The Secretary presented the Authorization Form to pay the July pensions.
Mr. Morrison moved that the disbursements be allowed. The -motion was seconded by
Mr. Harris and upon roll call the following vote was recorded: "Aye" Skelton,
Harris, and Morrison. "Nay" None.
There being Three °Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion passed.
The Secretary WhAIM3CXMX reported thatthe had a surplus of $10,000.00 in the
checking account which could be invested as the Board desired.
The Secretary recommended that $5,000.00 be invested with each, The Benton County
Savings & Loan Association, Bentonville, Arkansas, and Harrison Federal Savings & Loan
Association, Harrison, Arkansas.
Mr.Harris moved that the Secretary be and hexlereby authorized to invest $5,000.00
with each, the Benton County Savings & Loaa Association, Bentonville, Arkansas, and
with the Harrison Federal Savings & Loan Association, Harrison, Arkansas, thereby
making our investment with each up to $15,000.00.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Morrison, and Harris. "Nay" gone.
There being Three "Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Morrison,moved.to adjourn.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Harris and passed unanimously, whereupon the Chairman
Pro Tem declared the meeting adjourned.
