HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-11-07 MinutesMINUTES OF • THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE FIREMEN'S PENSION & RELIEF FUND The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension & Relief Fund of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Clerk's Office on Monday, November 7, 1966, at 4x45 P. M. Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, Secretary George J. Davis, and Board Members: Bill Harris and Doyle Morrison. Absent: Mayor Don Trumbo, Treasurer Albert J. Jones, and Board Members: Clarence Tune and Charles McWhorter. In the absence of Chairman Mayor Don Trumbo, Fire Chief Burl Skelton acted as Chairman Pro Tem. The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, October 10, 1966, were read and approved. The Secretary presented the authorization forqL to pay the October Pensions. Mr. Morribon moved that the disbursements be allowed. The motion was seconded by Mr. Harris and upon roll call the following vote was recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Harris, and Morrison. "Nay" None. There being three "Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion passed. Fire Chief Burl Skelton reported that Leonard Davis, who had resigned from the Firemen's Department in 1965, had been reinstated and wished to repay the amount back intb the Pension Fund that he had withdrawn. • (This was paid on August 20, 1965, in the total amount of $200.60) There being no further business, Mr. Harris moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and passed unanimously, whereupon the Chairman Pro Tem declared the meeting adjourned.
