THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE FIREMEN'S PENSION & RELIEF FUND
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension & Relief Fund
of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Clerk's Office on londay, August 89
1966; at 4:45 P. M.
Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, Secretary George J. Davis, and Board Members:
Bill Harris, Doyle Morrison, and Charles McWhorter.
Absent: Mayor Don Trumbo, TaeasurefrAlbert J. Jones, and Board Member Clarence Tune.

In the absence of Mayor Don Trumbo, Fire Chief Burl Skelton acted as Chairman Pro Tem.
The minutes of the regular meeting on Tuesday, July 5, 1966, were read and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorigat#m1form to pay the July pensions.
Mr. Morrison moved that the disbursements be allowed. The motion was seconded by Mr.
McWhorter and upon roll call the following vote was recorded, "Aye" Skelton, Harris,
Morrison, and McWhorter. "Nay" None.
There being Four "Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion passed.
The Secretary reported that the Pension & Relief Fund had received the sum of $9,472.08
from the State Insurance Commission and that he had a surplus of $109000.00 in the
oheoking account. He further reported that he had contacted a majority of the Board
and they =mm.ww►.d: approved of his investing the sum of $10,000.00 in a Savings
•Certificate with the First National Bank of Springdale, Arkansas, which he did on
August 59 1966.
Mr. Harris moved to approve the actions of the Secretary in investing the above amount
with the First National Bank of Springdale, Arkansas.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded, "Aye" Skelton, Harris, Morrison, and McWhorter. "Nay" None.
There being Four "Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Harris moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded by
Mr. McWhorter and passed unanimously, whereupon the Chairman Pro Tem declared the
meeting adjourned.
