FIREMEN'S PENSION & RELIEF FUND

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension & Relief Fund
of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Clerk's Office on Monday, April 4,
1966, at 4:45 P. M.
Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, Secretary George J. Davis, and Board Members:
Arthur Caselman, Bill Harris, Rnd Doyle Morrison.
Absent: Chairman Mayor Don Trumbo, Treasurer Albert J.Jones, and Board Member
Clarence Tune.
In the absence of Mayor Don Trumbo, Fire Chief Burl Skelton acted as Chairman Pro Tem.

The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, March 7, 1966, were read and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorization to pay the March Pensions.
Mr. Morrison moved the disbursements be allowed. The motBon was seconded by Mr. Harris
and upon roll call the following vote was recorded, "Aye" Skelton, Caselman, Harris,
and Morrison. "Nay" None.
There being four•"Ayes" and No "Nays'*, the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion passed.
It was noted that the pension payroll had increased to $982.52 per month.

The Secretary presented the application of Everett Joseph Cole for retirement and
pension effective as of April 10 1966.
Mr. Cole had been a full-time paid fireman from March 6, 1946, to April 1, 1966, ieo"e'L,
for the past 20 years continual service.
After a brief discussion, Mr. Morrison moved to accept the application of Everett
Joseph Cole for retirement and pension and to authorize the Secretary to place him on
the Pension List as of April 1, 1966, at a monthly pension of 175.00.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Caselman and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded, "Aye" Skelton, Caselman, Harris, and Morrison. "Nay" None.
There being four "Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Harris moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded
by Mr. Caselman and passed unanimously, whereupon the Chairman Pro Tem declared the
meeting adjourned.
