THE REGULAR EWING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF
THE FIREMEN'S PENSION & RELIEF FUND
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension & Relief Fund
of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Clerk's Office on Monday,
January 3, 19660 at 4:45 P. M.
Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, Secretary George J. Davis, and Board Members:
Arthur Caselman, Doyle Morrison, and Bill Harris.
Absent: Chairman Mayor Guy E. Brown, Treasurer Albert J. Jones, and Board Member
Clarence Tune.
In the absence of Mayor Guy E. Brown, Fire Chief Skelton acted as Chairman Pro Tem.
The minutes of the regular meegting on Monday, December 6, 1965, were read and approved.
The Secretary pres%entid the authorization form to pay the December Pensions.
Mr. Caselman moved that the disbursements be allowed.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Harrhe and upon roll caul the following vote was
recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Caselman, Morrison, and Harris. "Nay" None.
There being four "Ayes" and no "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion passed.
The Secretary reported that on Januaay 9, 1966, the Savings Certificate with McIlroy
Bank and Trust Co. would need to be reinvested or withdrawn and invested with a
Savings & Loan Co. paying higher rate of interest.
After a long discussion, Mr. Morrison moved that the Secretary be authorized and
directed to withdraw the $10,000.00 invested in the McIlroy Savings Certificate and
invest with a Savings & Loan Co., of Little Rock, Arkansas, paying 4J % Interest
unless the McIlroy-Bank had raised the rate of their dividend interest.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Harris and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded, "Aye" Skelton, Caselman, Morris&n, and Harris. "Nay! None.
There be four "Ayes" and no "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the Motion passed.

There being no further business, Mr. Caselman moved to adjouA. The motion was seconded '
by Mr. Morrifion and passed unanimously, whereupon the Chaiiman Pro Tem declared the
meeting adjourned.
