THE REGULAR I:A BOARD
OF
THE FnWMIS PENSION
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension & Relief Hind
of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Clerk's Office on Monday,
December 6, 1965, at 4:45 P. M.
Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, Secretary George J. Davis, And Board Members;
Arthur Caselman, Doyle Morrison, and Clarence Tune.
Absent: Chairman Mayor Guy E. Brown, Treasurer Albert J. Jones, and Board Member,
Bill Harris.
In the absence of Mayor Guy E. Brown, Fire Chief Burl Skelton acted as Chairman
Pro Tem.
The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, November 1, 1965, were read and
approved.
The Secretary presented the authorisation form to pay the November Pensions,
Mr. Morrison moved thattthe disbursements be allowed. The motion was seconded by
Mr. Tune and upon roll call the following vote was recorded: "Aye" Skelton,
Caselman, Morrison, and Tune. "Nay" None.
There being four "Ayes" and no "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion passed.
The Secretary reported that Lee Skelton (retired on disability) had been with the
Fire Department for twenty years, having been appointed on November 7, 1945, and was
due a twenty year Certificate at this time.
Mr. Tune moved that Mr. Lee Skelton be presented with a Twenty Year Certificate at
this time.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and passed unanimously.
There being no further business, Mr. Morrison moved to adjourn. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Caselman and passed unanimously, whereupon the Chairman Pro Tep
declared the meeting adjourned.
