• THE REGUEAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF
FIRE MEN IS PENSION & RELIEF FUND.
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firements Pension & Relief
Fund of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Clerk's Office on Tuesday,
September 7, 1965, at 4:45 P. M.
Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, KH Secretary George J. Davis, and Board Members:
Bill Harris and Doyle Morrison,
Absent: Chairman Mayor Guy E. Brown, City Treasurer Albert J. Jones, and Board Members:
Art)Tur Caselman and Clarence Tune.
In the absence of the Mayor, Fire Chief Burl Skelton acted as Chairman Pro Tem.
The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, August 2, 1965,werb read and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorization form to pay the August Pensions.
Mr. Morrison moved that the disbursements be allowed. The motion was seconded by
Mr. Harris and upon roll'call the following vote was recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Harris,
and Morrison. "Nay" None.
There being three "Ayes" and no IINays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion
passed.
The Secretary reported that he had invested the sum of $10,000.00 with the Harrison
• Federal Savings & Loan Association, Harrison, Arkansas, bearing 41% Interest, payable
semiannually.
Mr. Harris moved to approve the investment as made by the Secretary and outlined above.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and upgn roll call the following vote was
recorded: "Aye! Skelton, Harris, and Morrison. "Nay" None.
There being three "Ayes" and No "Nays", the Ohairman Fro T$m declared the motion
passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Morrison moved to adjourn. The motion was
seconded by Mk. Harris and passed unanimously, whereupon the Chairman Pro Tem
declared the meeting adjourned.
