MEETING OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES CF FIRFMPT'S
PENSIOD' AND RELIEF FUND
The Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Firemen's Pension and Relief
Fund of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Clerk's O£ficeon Monday,
August 3, 1964, at 4:45 P.M:
Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, Secretary George J. Davis, and Board Members:
Bill Harris, Arthur Caselman, Doyle Morrison and Clarence Tune,
Absent: Chairman Mayor Guy E. Brown and Acting Treasurer Albert J. J8nes.In the
absence of Chairman Mayor Guy E. Brown, Fire Chief Burl Skelton acted as Chairman Pro Tem.
The Minutesof the Regular Meeting on Monday July 6, 1964 were read and approved.
The Secretary presented the Authorization Form to pay the July Pensions,
Mr:. N.orrison moved that the disbursements be allowed.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Tune and upon roll call, the following-nvotel.,was
recorded: "AYE" Skelton, Harris, Caselman, Morrison, and Tune.
"Nay" None.
There being five "AYES" and no "NAYS", the Chairman. Pro-Temdeclared the motion
passed.
The Secretary reported that a surplus of $8,000.00 was now in the checking account
r:hich could be invested as the Board desires and he reccommended this be invested
with the First Federal Savings and Loan Association, Little Rock, Arkansas.at 4�%
• compounded Semi-annually.
After a brief discussion, Mr. Tune moved to invest $8,000.00 in Savings and Loan
Stock with the First Fgderal Savings and Loan Association, Little Rock, Arkansas
at 40 compounded Semi-annually.
The motion was `seconded by Mr. Morrison and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded: "AYE" Skelton, and )rUne.
!Nay" None.
There being five "AYES" and no "Nays", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion
passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Caselman moved to adjourn.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and passed unanimously, whereupon the Chair-
man Pro Tem declared the meeting adfourned.
