• MEETING OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF FIREMEN'S
PENSION AND RELIEF FUND
The Regular meeting o,. the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension and Relief
Fund of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Clerk's Office on Monday,
July 6, 1964, at 4:45 P,.M.
Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, Secretary George J. Davis, and Board Members:
Doyle Morrison, Arthur Caselman, and Pill Harris.
Absent: Chairman Guy E. Brown, Acting City Treasurer Albert J. Jones, and Board
Member Clarence Tune.
In the absence of Chairman Mayor Guy E. P.rown, Fire Chief Burl Skelton acted as
Chaftman Pro Tem.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting on Monday, June 10 1964, were read and approved.
The Secretary presented the Authorization Form to pay the June Pensions.
Mr. Harris moved that the disbursements be allowed.
The motion was seconded by Ms. Morrison and upon roll call, the following vote was
recorded: "AYE" Skelton, Morrison, Caselman and Harris.
"NAY", None.
There being four "AYES" and no "NAYS", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion
passed.
The Secretary reported that a surplus of $10,000.00 was now in the Checking :..c
• Account which he recommended to 17e invested as the Board desired.
After a brief discussion, Mr. Morrison moved that the Secretary be and he is here-
by authorized to invest $10,000.00 with United Savings Association, Ft. Smith,
Arkansas, at 414 per cent interest payable semi-annually.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Harris and upon roll call, the following vote was
recorded: "AYE." Skelton, Morrison, Caselman and Harris.
"NAY", none.
There being four "AYES" and no "NAYS", the Chairman Pro Tem declared the motion
passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Caselman moved to adjourn.
The motion was seconded by Ms. Harris and passed unanimously, whereupon the Chair-
man Pro Tem declared the meeting adjourned. '
